James Walker & Co - Cockermouth

James Walker and Co is a multi national specialist in seals working for many well known manufacturers . The complex in Cockermouth is a world centre of excellence in seal technology. In 2009 the site was extensively flooded and Martin helped the factory re build the offices and a  new  reception within a very short period of time.
Externally the factory has not changed much since the 1950's and the key managers were eager to look at a factory upgrade. Planning was sought and approved for the re cladding of the front elevation including new fenestration. At this point the reception only has been constructed with a very tight deadline , the architecture is modern using the corporate colours. Further enhancements are in the pipeline for future years and Martin has continued to work for the company whilst working with a number of local architects  looking at Factory expansion.   The images below show the new reception, and the planning 3d model with the new cladding and windows.  Martin is now working directly as MHad with James Walker and several new projects.
